he took her hand they walked behind the curtain

no one gave a second thought

out came who else but cleopatra

and all the men perked up

she said ‘ive got a new boyfriend’

and up stood donald trump

i heard the chimes of freedom laughin

walkin on a long and dusty road

the air was hot the grass was brown and growin

the sidewalk was made of gold

and i was overcome with a funny feelin

like i was bein watched

i overheard some buzzards whisperin
